Magic-
wind was up and down, most people on 5.5's or 5.7's, gusty, a little cooler, water
going down but we had a nice little launch area. Still plenty of water and maybe do-able at East side.
Jim, Kathy, Marc, Wade, and BT. Best sailing was 2:30-4:00.

Magic-
    Frontal passage.
Arrived west side at 4:30 under thick clouds light wind and blue sky to the west.
Not a car or person in sight.
At 5:00 the north end was starting to whitecap so I rigged a 6.5
and waited for the sun to come out.
By the time the clouds cleared at 5:30 it was totally filled in
and I was almost overpowered at times. By 6:00 it was fading quickly.
By 6:15 I was limping in and it was all over. Marc

Magic-
Got off work and as I came over CAREY hill I noticed it was breezy. Called
the line; 20 gusting into the 30's. What the heck? Off to the lake or
should I say pond
Rigged a 5.7 and sailed by myself for a good hour powered up 90% of the
time then it died. I launched from merle point boat ramp. Not to muddy but
it does stink.
There might be a launch on the 2nd point but watch where you drive or you
could be stuck. Might be wind on wed. twin's report says 10 - 20 west

Magic-
Really Good! King of Magic, Ken C.,
showed up early for his first time out this year, with his shorty and 5.4.
Chris, John & I got on the water about 3:30 with a 6.5 sail. Sailed
really strong until about 5:30, then we
went in because we got blown off the water. Chris had to go due to medical reasons I won't
elaborate on right now. John and I rigged down to 5.7's, started slow and then it wound up
great. When I left at 7:00 it was blowing 22, gusting to 36. Wade came out late, and I saw a mystery
sailor on the East side. East side will only last for the rest of the week. 72°.

Magic goes off again!
report from Jim S. : june 10th, figured i'd better report on the epic day at magic since the reporter wasn't
there to report. blowing 25 to 45 with peak gust over 50. b.t., mark w., jimmy s. and chris g. showed.
wave boards and 4.2's were the call of the day. we all watched in amazement as chris g.
continued to hold down a 5.7.???? guess he didn't have time to rig down.
fun swells from the point up to the channel. and, believe me it was no problem getting
up into the channel. sorry no photos but they would have been cool.
jim
report from Chris G. : Arrived just before 2:00 only guy there.
Rigged 5.7 - powered up nice for 1 hour.
winky and Jim S showed up.
They rigged in the low 5's. I down hauled the 5.7 to the max and by 4:00
when BT came I was waaay overpowered. Had to leave by 5:00, at that time the other guys were rigging
down to the low 4's. Killer day at tragic magic, 4 sailors and no photo's - too
busy hanging on to think about the camera.

in and Chris and Jim W were planing 80% of the time on 6.0/6.5's. It was cold, about 60°, needed gloves.

Magic-I was on my 4.2 sail and 78 litre board, over powered the entire time.
Made one reach out and back with one beautiful jibe and only in my harness half the time.
Wind was 37 mph, gusting to 54. Wind chill was 31 and falling.
I guess I'm crazy because I was the only one there. It rained dust all the way home. Jim W.
